Michelle’s monthly column, The Sussex Scroll: Who to Follow This Month, launched with its first edition recently. The idea behind it is pretty simple: there’s so much great content coming out of Sussex that deserves attention, and the column gives space to shine a spotlight on the people, places and social media accounts that are capturing what’s happening across our communities.
Each edition brings three standout local Instagram accounts worth following, from makers and creatives, to independent hospitality spots and organisations telling their story in engaging and clever ways on social media. Alongside that, Michelle will be dipping into the wider social buzz in Sussex, the most instagrammed places, events gaining traction, and the trends that are shaping life here, whether it’s sustainable travel, foodie culture or outdoor escape inspiration.
She will also be sharing hints and tips along the way, such as how to use Instagram’s map feature to discover new places nearby, hidden gems you might not have found otherwise. It’s a handy tool for anyone wanting to explore more of Sussex, or for local businesses looking to be more discoverable online.
Being asked to write for Sussex Exclusive feels like a natural extension of the work Michelle does with clients and through ByJove Media, only now she gets to share insight and inspiration with a much wider, more general, local audience.
